I Drove My Girlfriend's Stepsister To College: six hours, a storm and one motel room

What is I Drove My Girlfriend's Stepsister To College about?

From the passenger seat, Kenzie informs him that since her stepsister arranged this lift, the whole six-hour drive makes him hers, and she means it.

Hanna needs her stepsister Kenzie returned to college, and her boyfriend has the car, so he gets six hours behind the wheel with a passenger who comments on every glance he takes. Hanna rings to ask whether he is behaving and how the driving is going; Kenzie answers for him, calling him boring. Then a storm builds over the highway, and Hanna makes him promise to stop somewhere for the night.

I Drove My Girlfriend’s Stepsister To College gets its pressure from Hanna’s good intentions. Every sensible suggestion she makes moves the pair closer: the drive itself, the stop for the night, the motel’s last room, which Kenzie notes is cheaper anyway. Hanna has also described him to her stepsister as the shy one, and Kenzie takes that as a dare. When the calls keep coming, he has to sound calm while she sets the agenda.

Episode 1: A storm and the last room

I Drove My Girlfriend's Stepsister To College, episode 1 · open to anyone, no login

Kenzie lays down the rules as soon as they are on the road: her stepsister asked him to drive her back to college, so for six hours he belongs to her. He tries to keep his attention ahead, and she orders his eyes back to the road and tells him to relax, because six hours is nothing. When Hanna asks if he is behaving, Kenzie says no, he is boring, and reports that he is coping with the wheel.

A storm on the highway prompts Hanna to make him promise to pull over, and Kenzie repeats the order back at him. At the front desk there is just one room going, which suits Kenzie, who likes the price and, once inside, the bed. After all that staring from the driver's seat she wants a shower. Hanna, she reveals, described him as the shy one; the bathroom door stays open, with an invitation to join her.

His answer is no, because she is Hanna's stepsister, and Kenzie's calm reply is that he will. Eyeing the fresh T-shirt he has changed into, she suggests he lend it to her, and when he insists he has nothing else to wear, she decides she will do without.

When Hanna calls to see how they are doing, he plays it down: some grim motel, room 67, everything fine. Hanna wonders if her stepsister is being a brat. He claims to have her under control, and Kenzie makes him repeat the words to her. Then comes her confession: from the day Hanna first introduced them, Kenzie has wanted him, and as far as she is concerned Hanna will never learn about tonight. On the line, Hanna asks if he is still there.

Will Hanna hear what is happening in room 67?

Once the free episodes are over, the drive is unfinished, the storm has stranded them for the night, and Hanna's call is still open while Kenzie says the quiet part out loud. He has refused her twice, but he has not left the room. The rest of the journey is told in episodes 3 to 5, and whether Kenzie ever reaches college is beyond the reach of this guide.
