Week two brings another cancellation. This time the lesson is the turn, and the instructor tells him to hold on and to hold her as though he means the step. She jokes that his two left feet have somehow never landed on hers and that his wife does not know what she is missing. Then she states the obvious, that nobody else is turning up tonight, and proposes the private routine instead.

Episode 2: The leg wrap and a work dinner

The routine she has prepared is for him alone, centred on a leg wrap that she keeps asking him to lift higher. When his wife at last turns up to a class, she is stunned by how well he moves. The instructor's cool reply is that he moves exactly like that when he is with her. The husband sees that his wife has filed the whole thing under choreography.

Then the wife has a work dinner to get to. She tells him to stay on and practise, which leaves him in the studio with his partner and nobody else. His instructor points out that there is plenty he has not learned yet, and as the episode ends she tells him the private lessons begin now.
