Private Lessons: a yoga studio three weeks before the wedding

What is Private Lessons about?

Halfway through her class for newcomers, Mia stops at one mat, points to the spot where the groom holds all his stress and tells him he is far too tight.

The client has a wedding on the calendar and has decided that a yoga course is the way to arrive at it relaxed. He picks a group class, rolls out a mat and feels out of place among the regulars before the first stretch. Mia, who runs the room, notices him at once. Where he sees a body that refuses to bend, she sees a project, and by the end of the hour she has moved him out of the group and into her own diary.

Every reason he gives for being there becomes a line Mia can turn back on him. He asks for flexibility and she hears a challenge; he mentions stamina and she calls it her speciality; he talks about the big day and she says a groom should learn to let someone else do the work. The countdown to the honeymoon hangs over every exchange, and he keeps telling himself he should not be there while walking further down the corridor.

Mia greets a room of new faces and promises a hands-on session. She soon finds the man who is struggling most and tells him his whole body is locked up. When he says yoga is not for someone built like him, she insists there is nothing wrong with his build, only with how little he knows about using it. Tension like his, she adds, calls for attention in private, with nobody watching.

Once the class ends he asks about those sessions and explains why: the wedding is close and he wants flexibility, stamina, the lot. Mia says she loves a committed man, claims stamina as her speciality and books the two of them in. She leaves to loosen up and tells him to learn the same trick, and the episode closes with him somewhere he knows he has no business being.

Episode 2: Down the hall, second door

The second episode opens with Mia noting that her new client vanished before the end. His excuse, that he was just checking whether a room was empty and saw nothing, earns an invitation to take another look. Then she does the sums for him: with three weeks to go, a groom this knotted up will take all of it on honeymoon with him, and the cure is a massage, with clear instructions to the therapist about what he enjoys.

He follows her directions to the treatment rooms and lies down for a therapist who promises to work the knots out. Partway through, she hushes him and tells someone else that he is all theirs. He admits the new hands are better, and the voice says he holds stress everywhere. It takes him a while to place it, and when he finally says Mia's name, her only answer is to ask whether she should continue.

Will the groom tell Mia to stop before his wedding?

Three weeks remain before the wedding, and Mia has already taken over his class, his massage and most of his excuses. What the free episodes leave open is how he answers her question on the table, and whether the bride he keeps mentioning ever hears about the studio. Private Lessons cast: who is who

The client, a man who is never named in the free episodes, is the one the camera follows, and Mia is the instructor who takes him on; Candy AI lists the lead as Mia Malkova. Mia Malkova appears as a digital twin, an AI double made with the creator's agreement, so the woman on screen is not the real person. Both of them, like everyone else on screen, are fictional adults rendered with AI.

How explicit is Private Lessons?

Episodes 1 and 2 stay with yoga double meanings, a glimpse he swears he never had and a massage with a surprise therapist. Nothing goes past suggestion at that point, and the three paid episodes are where the sessions go further. Like the rest of Candy Shorts, the studio is open to adults only.
